I have a secret.  I love chick lit.

The first 2 chick lit books turned me off on them.  On my old blog, I even ranted about them.  I believe it went something about it being anti-feminism or another.  I've read more chick lits from then on, and I think the two books I read (top sellers nonetheless) were just bad examples (imo) of chick lit!

Now I'm on a huge Sophie Kinsella binge, even though she was one of the authors I disliked.  Since Saturday, I've read 4 of her books, and I love it!  I'm Rebecca Bloomwood!  Except I don't have a super rich and smart boyfriend/husband, and I never received personal letters from my bank manager.  I don't even know who the bank manager is!  And I'm really not a financial whiz.  BUT, the high she gets from shopping?  The ways she wants all her financial problems to just go away??  That's me!!!

I do get excited shopping for anything, including office supplies.  I just stop myself from shopping for things I really can't afford, like bags and shoes!  The only thing I can't control is makeup!  Wait, that's a bit obvious isn't it?

But that's why I have this blog!  As an excuse for my makeup purchasing habits.

Btw... I want to speak more British!  And spend quids and eat biscuits!
