Total Beauty Top Celebrity Trend To Avoid - Kate Gosselin

By juicywatermelon · June 9, 2009 · 2 Comments · 26 Views

I loved watching Jon and Kate Plus 8 until they moved to the new house, and Kate started doing the spiky thing to her hair and started looking like a oompa loompa.  Sorry Kate, but you have to lay off those tans!  They are not becoming!

So according to Kate, thousands of women wants to copy her hairstyle.  Well, if any of those women are TotalBeauty readers, or have any style sense for that matter, they'll know to definitely avoid her hair.  Really, it's not flattering on her!!  From too brash highlights that clashes with her orange skin, to how severe the bangs lay across her face, everything is just wrong.  Don't get me started on those weird spikes!  I'm all for cute short hair styles, but I think Katie Holmes, Posh Spice and Rihanna provide better examples of cute short cropped hair.

Go-Girl Products

By juicywatermelon · June 9, 2009 · 0 Comments · 9 Views

I just received the info from Go-Girl, a line of everyday products for the girl on the go, like Lint Sheets, nipple concealers, gel patches, oil blotting sheets.  Everything has a cute name, but what caught my attention to the line is their hilarious product descriptions.  Once upon a time, I would be given a bunch of products with no description to put into the product database for the company's website.  If it was makeup, then sure, I'd have no problem coming up with the product description.  However, these were things like golf supplies and accessories, bridal tiaras and viels, and even air conditioners.  So I really appreciate product descriptions that are not just well written, but also make me laugh!

Case to point:

GO-GIRL GEL-PATCHES™ are the perfect ice patch to rid you of aches and pains from those day-to-day dramas. Got a headache from your husband, boyfriend, boss, the kids or traffic? Or just a little swollen from your monthly botox injections? Then these soft gel-patches are for you. Soft enough to use on your child's knee or head. Gentle to the touch even when chilled.

So there ya go girls, if you need something to help with your monthly botox injections, get the Go-Girl Gel-Patches.  LoL!

Mascara To Brighten Eyes?

By juicywatermelon · June 9, 2009 · 0 Comments · 29 Views

I'm all about trying out new mascara, especially drugstore mascara.  Brands like CoverGirl and L'Oreal makes great and affordable mascara that I won't feel guilty about tossing out.  While watching the previous season of ANTM, I saw this new mascara from CoverGirl.  It's suppose to make the color of your eyes look brighter with special colors in the mascara.  Now I'm all about making my eyes look brighter, bigger and more defined with mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow, but what about colored mascara?

I picked up a tube from Target yesterday, but haven't tried it out yet.  Have any of you tried it?  Did you notice any difference in how bright your browns/greens/hazels/blues look??  I do wonder, what about the people with gray eyes??
