Hollywood Entertainment Museum Honors NBC's "Heroes" - Arrivals

I've always thought Hayden Panettiere was cute.  She has the most adorable round face with those round cheeks that you want to pinch.  Nowadays she's probably the Princess of Smoky Eyes.  Her gorgeous green eyes are always the center of attention with the help of very defined black eyeliner action on the top and bottom lash line as well as false lashes.  It's her expected red-carpet look!

The only thing I don't like with this look is that it's paired with severe matte red lips.  Make no mistake, I'm a fan of red lips, but this red is just too severe and matte for her young face, and it's too much competition with the eyes!  If she had kept the eyes simple, and made the lips either more glossy or stained looking, it would look much fresher.  Overall, the look is just too done.

I do love the glow that seems to radiate from within, as well as the nicely arched brows that frames her face.

But even though I myself don't like her like this, she, or her makeup artist, favors the red lips with bold eyes, as she's seen sporting similar looks at another event.  I suppose it looks nice from a distance, but do note that her lips on the bottom picture are glossier.
